Purpose
Invario offers discounts on labor in the form of pre-paid service retainers. You never pay for support hours that you do not use. An Invario service retainer reduces the cost of providing services by enabling us to plan and schedule our engineers' time. This way we can proactively prevent problems instead of being reactive to problems after they occur. We pass these savings on to you by offering substantial 20% to 30% discounts.

Benefits of service retainers
Our service retainers are ideal if you have a defined project or long-term support needs. You are entitled to labor at a greatly reduced rate with the understanding of how and when the labor will be used. You are given a weekly accounting of how much labor has been used and a description of what has been accomplished. If a project is completed or the original service is no longer required before all the hours of a retainer have been used, you may ask for a refund or use the hours toward another task.

Restrictions/Limitations
Service retainers only apply to labor rates. Any products, such as hardware and software, that are used in maintaining and upgrading your system are billed separately and will NOT be deducted from the retainer account. It is the intent of the retainer that all the labor will be supplied within a three-month period and NOT be used on an as-needed basis over an extended period of time.

Refunds
You are entitled to a refund of the balance of the retainer after the discounts, already applied to that retainer, have been charged back.

Retainer renewal
Once the balance of the retainer reaches 30% of its initial value, Invario will send a renewal invoice. It is your responsibility to renew the retainer before the retainer balance reaches zero in order to continue to receive the labor discounts.
