“Yeah, we do that!”

Beware of those who claim to be experts in everything.

We have noticed a trend in the computer industry that many companies provide an entire host of services that, to us, seem unrelated to our focus. Their services require a variety of unrelated expertise and personnel. Some examples are:

  • Programming services in several programming languages
  • Other computer networks such as Novell and Linux
  • Technical staff placement
  • National franchise sales
  • Government contracting
  • Web site design
  • Cabling services
  • Fiber optics
  • Printer and monitor repair
  • Internet services
  • Web hosting
  • Telephone systems
  • Cell phone resale

What this means is that you really don’t know if your support company is good at supporting your network. When your support company’s focus is so broad, it often turns out that they are not really experts at anything.

With Invario Network Engineers you are supported by a small privately held business. Our focus is exclusively the Microsoft Windows networking environment. Our clients are all smaller commercial businesses in the Washington DC metro area. We are happy to limit our scope so you are supported by people who know how you operate. We know that there is plenty of opportunity to provide services in this area and we know that every company is not a perfect fit for our services.

We also realize that the services mentioned above are important and often required by your business. Instead of trying to do the work ourselves we refer other top quality companies that focus on the service that you require. Our reward is only that you get the work done right at a fair price.

What this means is you are hiring experts in the Windows support environment and know that we are happy to refer business for services that we do not provide. For example, you are not paying for a C++ programmer to solve your technical e-mail issue. We are not experts in government contracting or hiring staff to go from temp to perm with no management from us. We are proud of our engineering staff and the work they do.

Don’t’ take our word for it…

Are you small potatoes?

When choosing a network support company it is critical that you are an important client to that company. You need to know that your problems are a priority and that they do not have a more important client ahead of you.

Government contracts can be an attractive vehicle for creating large amounts of revenue for supporting large networks. Often the expertise is in writing the proposal and not in performing the work.

Computer support companies always seem to be going after the next big customer. That leaves your company as a second-class client. You probably find that your business is not desirable to some IT support companies because you have the same problems as very big companies, but a smaller budget.

We listened to clients who have told us they hired a large support firm. The service was expensive and their small business was treated as a low priority. Large IT support firms often send the most inexperienced engineers to your site with no long-term focus to eliminate your problems.

At Invario Network Engineers we specialize in small businesses like yours. We enjoy how your business is able to grow, adapt, and change quickly. We like that your company has higher expectations of our services, that we are often speaking directly to you, the decision maker, and that the results of our efforts are immediately apparent. Our engineers enjoy the challenges that small dynamic businesses bring, and we work well in these environments. We pride ourselves in how we fit our work to your company, and we take pride in your success. Success that is the result of having a safe, zippy, and reliable computer network. We are not interested in providing support services to large companies.

Don’t take our word for it… Our customers appreciate our service so much that they are our leading source of new business. Often we travel to the home of a company executive to set up remote access or resolve an issue for them. Several of our customers, like Windwalker Corporation, have grown from 35 to over 65 employees while doing business with us.
