Before and After

As Invario Network Engineers our job is to get the network working period. That being said, a network can be 100% operational, but still be in a state of chaos when it comes to the networking equipment and cabling. Having a network that looks like a rats nest is prone to un-explainable failures and difficult to trouble shoot when problems arise. In each of these cases we have added rack mounting hardware and used the services of a professional cable installer. Through experience we have found that it is well worth our time to clean up the network closet. Almost every time we find obsolete hardware that is still powered on even though it is not being used. Besides wasting power these obsolete devices can interfere with working devices and pose a security risk through unauthorized access. If you have a before picture contact us and we can help make it an after picture.

Waterskiing Santa Show - Dec 24th 1PM

I invite you to the Water Skiing Santa Show at National Harbor on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2013 at 1:00 PM. The event is free and children of all ages get a kick out of seeing Santa Claus and friends arrive in DC. Directions to National Harbor can be found here. As ‘Bingle’ the Elf I will be riding a special kind of water ski called a Hydrofoil. My son, Pablo, will also be a reindeer in the show. The water is usually in the upper 30’s or low 40’s. However, in a dry suite it really is not as extreme as it sounds. Hope to see you there!
